About
Karrie and her husband Jon, grew up in Rio and loved the community so much they chose to stay and raise their family here too. They have raised their three children who are now young adults following the path God has set for each one. Jon and Karrie actively serve the Rio area community and enjoy giving back in a multitude of ways to keep this a vibrant, positive community to both raise families and enjoy retirement.
The purpose of this church shall be the proclamation and demonstration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. To provide an atmosphere for learning and spiritual growth that people will come to know and experience the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. To administer the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper, to share Christ’s love with all persons, and to provide the opportunity for all persons to join in the worship of Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord.
We are committed to serving God and the needs of you and your family. We aspire to strengthen each person's understanding of God's Word and joy in Jesus Christ - at every point in his or her life. We strive for all to attain continual personal and spiritual growth through prayer, small group fellowship, and active service in our church and community.
