Dear Daughter of Mine Conference

This year, Pastor Karrie will share will share a message with the youth.

Dr. Karrie Landsverk serves as the lead pastor for Living Gospel Church and has previously led youth group for many years in her church. Karrie has nearly thirty-five years of leadership experience and reached ten years serving as pastor of Living Gospel Church this year. She is passionate about helping all come to know God's great love personally and showing the way for each one to walk confidently in His love.

Pastor Karrie is excited to have the opportunity to speak into our youngest daughters at our conference this year and share her own testimonies from her own experiences growing up. Pastor Karrie firmly believes all that we go through has purpose and our God works ALL things for the good for those who love Him! So please gather up your young ladies for a day of fun and some powerful discussions with Pastor Karrie.  We as God’s daughters have all been called to make a powerful impact on the world around us for His glory and our great joy!

Glory in our suffering. 

Joyce will lead our adult ladies in their second message titled:

Suffering Well. 

The beautiful reality: Your suffering isn't wasted. Every tear, every struggle, every moment of pain becomes raw material in God's hands for creating compassion, wisdom, and a testimony that can only come from walking through fire with Him. God doesn't promise to remove all suffering, but He promises to be with you in it, to work through it, and to bring beauty from ashes in ways that will amaze you.

Kingdom Routine for today:

In moments of pain, pray: "God, I don't understand this, but I trust You're with me in it. Use this suffering to develop Your character in me. Show me how You're bringing beauty from these ashes." 

Your suffering has purpose because you have a God who specializes in redemption.

A little bit about Joyce:

First and foremost, I am the beloved daughter of the King, who is forgiven, redeemed, chosen, healed, and set apart. I am the woman from the well in the bible who is beautifully and wonderfully made. Nothing disqualifies me from His love and His plans for me. Living out of that identity, in 2018 He called me to be the women’s pastor at City Church and the women’s volunteer chaplain at the Dane County Jail. 

My heart is overflowing with love to have 3 daughters, one son, 5 granddaughters, and
one grandson who light up my world. I am also blessed to have many spiritual sons,
daughters and grandchildren.

Fun fact: I met my husband at Lifest! He says his ministry is to love and take care of me.
I thank God for him.
