Esther 4:14 (NIV) 14 For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”
Pastor Karrie will share our first message based on our theme:
Rise Up Daughter For Such a Time as This.
Dr. Karrie Landsverk is the lead pastor for Living Gospel Church, serving eleven years in this position. She served nine years on the board of directors for the International Ministerial Association with six of those years leading as Chairman of the board. Karrie has nearly thirty-five years of leadership experience overall through ministry and business roles.
Karrie is passionate about helping all come to know God's great love personally and showing the way for each one to walk confidently in His love. She knows first hand the call God gave her to rise up for such a time as this, and how powerfully God has shown up for her as she walked in faithful obedience. Karrie is excited to share her testimony with each of you and to look at God's Word that teaches us to be courageous, bold and faithful to the assignments entrusted to us, not because of who we are on our own, but who Christ is in us!
Let us not look to our own qualifications to determine if we are worthy for assignments God gives us but let us look to Him and all He is at work in and through us!
Sisters in Christ, God has called each of us for such a time as this, right here, right now. We are all in this generation by His choosing to impact this generation, for His glory! We all have an assignment God is entrusting to us; so let us rise up like Esther and faithfully carry them out.
A Bit About Pastor Karrie:
Pastor Karrie earned her docterate in 2023 from Christian Leadership University focusing on Ministry. Her masters is focused on Theology. She is happily married to Jon and they will have just celebrated 25 years of marriage as we gather together. They have three grown children, a wonderful daughter-in-law, and now and adorable grandson who will be closing in on turning one! She is really enjoying this season of life. Being a grandma is the best! She and her husband grew up in Rio and have been active servants in this community all of their adult lives. In their spare time they enjoy time at their lake house fishing, gardening, and watching birds as well as watching their daughter compete in college cross-country and track meets. Karrie is always up for ice cream or coffee road trips and both make the trip even sweeter!
Rachael Hayes is joining us again as an attendee favorite!
Only Jesus
The call of God is the beckoning of the Holy Spirit, inviting ordinary people into extraordinary purpose. Yet the assignment of God can never be fulfilled through human strength alone. It requires the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit. The call may seem daunting, but when the Spirit of God comes upon His people, they rise, not in their own ability, but in His strength. They rise, and rise again, until lambs become lions and sheep become soldiers.
Jesus said that the way is narrow, difficult, and that few find it (Matthew 7:14). In a generation of compromise and distraction, God is calling His Church to arise.
We need Davids who pursue the enemy with unwavering confidence, recover what has been stolen, and uphold the standard of God. We need Daniels who discern the times, refuse to bow to culture, and stand with uncompromising integrity. We need Esthers who embrace courageous obedience, counting God’s purpose as greater than personal comfort. We need Deborahs who lead with wisdom, boldness, and the fear of the Lord. We need Jeremiahs who proclaim the Word of God without fear of rejection. We need Elijahs who stand in faith when the odds are against them. We need Nehemiahs who rebuild what has been broken, refusing to be distracted by opposition.
But none of this begins with striving, it begins with His presence.
Only as we come away with Him, encounter His presence, and are transformed into His likeness are we empowered to fulfill His purpose. From that place of intimacy comes authority. From that place of surrender comes courage. From that place of communion comes the power to rise.

All will enjoy our first message from Pastor Jen, with the youth breaking about halfway through to enjoy a fun ice breaker activity on their own. We'll have a short break and dive into our second messages from Pastors Joyce and Karrie and allow for great small group sharing following the messages.
We'll all come back together for a wonderful lunch served by the men of Living Gospel Church and enjoy a time of fellowship. We'll then gather together for additional worship and our tradition of sharing love letters from God for all ladies.
It's sure to be a wonderful day to come together as God's daughters! Please help spread the word and be sure to join in this uplifting and powerful day of worship!
